Discuss the rise of mass production techniques, the growth of cities, the impact of new technologies (e.g., the automobile, electricity), and the resulting prosperity and effect on the American landscape.

Mass production, the production of large amounts. Mass production brought about the use of assembly lines. This lead to large factories in which more workers were needed. As a result, people began moving into cities who were usually revolved around the factories.
